May 29 (CRICKETNMORE) - South Africa's star batsman Hashim Amla becomes the fastest player to score 7000 runs in ODI. He has broken Virat Kohli’s record during the third match between England and South Africa at Lord’s on Monday. Amla took 150 innings while Virat Kohli had taken 161 innings to reach the milestone.

Hashim Amla is also the record holder of scoring fastest 6000, 5000, 4000, 3000 and 2000 ODI runs that he reached in 123, 101, 81, 57 and 40 innings respectively.
