Quotes

R Uthappa (Man of the match) : It is a great wicket and I enjoy playing here, good that I am contributing in the teams success. I have plans worked out, pitch was bit difficult than we played here last time, the ball was stopping a little and playing a lofted shots were difficult. Shakib gave good support and every time he scored boundary I concentrated on taking single and converting the over in to a big ones. I was glad to have Shakib at the other end, he was striking it well. I would like to thank to crowd for supporting us.

G Gambhir : It was a professional effort, Shakib and Robin batted well and set the game for us, chasing big total was always going to be tough. We have comfort in the bowling department with such good bowlers. Chasing in the 2nd half against the likes of Morkel, Shakib, Narine is difficult. He(Morkel) was touching good pace, he is committed in the field and everyone can learn from him. We need to look forward. Thanks for all the support and will try to bring more happiness to the fans of Kolkata.
