The Maxwell-Miller duo once again played an instrumental role in the win. Chasing down a huge total of 192 set by Rajasthan Royals, Punjab lost first two wickets quickly. Sehwag once again failed to make any impact. However, it was the partnership between Maxwell (89 off 45 balls) & Pujara (40* off 38 balls) which changed the course of the game. While Maxwell continued to dominate the bowlers throgh his hard hitting, Pujara played the role of sheet anchor. In the end some quick firework was shown by David Miller who made 51* in just 19 balls.

Quotes

Glenn Maxwell (Man of the Match): Mumbai had a great side last year, I had to buy my time. Punjab are playing me and it has gone well. I have a plan for each ball and I try to find different gaps each time. It depends on what field is set for me. What worries me more that I was not there at the end to finish it off. I would like to stay back to the end.

George Bailey: Once again, extraordinary batting from Miller and Maxwell. All credit to Rajasthan, they bowled well at the start. We felt further behind the run rate than what we wanted. With Maxwell and Miller are batting like that, we need not worry. We don't want to be chasing as many every time, its not much fun when it gets down to the end, its great fun watching though.

Shane Watson: Glenn batted beautifully. We were hoping for him to mis-hit something. You can't do much when he is in such a good form.
