21st May,BCCI secretary Sanjay Patel has confirmed the squad for a short tour of Bangladesh will be announced before the end of the month.

Speaking to media, BCCI secretary Sanjay Patel said “The team for Bangladesh would be selected at the end of this month, most probably in Bangalore where IPL 7 final is scheduled to take place on 1st June."

India will play 3 ODI series in Dhaka between 15th and 19th June.

Bangladesh tour will be followed by long tour to England comprising five Tests and a five-match one-day series against the hosts. 

In view of the tour to England, the Indian selectors might rest captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni and key batsman Virat Kohli, news reports have indicated. 

Patel had said earlier that some new players could be tried out in Bangladesh, while refusing to say about the possibility of resting Dhoni and Kohli.
