India beat Pakistan comfortabily in the Super-10 opener of World T20 by 7 wickets.

India won the toss & elected to field first. Pakistan was restricted to a modest total of 130 by some quality bowling from Indian spinners. Man of the match Amit Mishra picked up two wickets and was well supported by Jadeja. For Pakistan, Umar Akmal (33 from 21 balls) and A.Shehzad (22 from 17 balls) remained the top scorers.

Chasing down a total of 131, India got a solid start from both openers Shikhar Dhawan (30 from 28 balls) & Rohit Sharma (24 from 21 balls). Though 3 batsmen got out in quick succession, but Suresh Raina (38*) & Virat Kohli (36*) ensured victory for their team.
