Scorecard - Mumbai vs Delhi

Quotes

M Vohra (Man of the match) : Yeah it is my home ground as I play for Punjab so I enjoy playing here. I was waiting for my chance and was desperately waiting for the opportunity to perform, was confident enough that I can deliver, Coach had a faith in me it was pretty difficult to make it in to the playing 11. Players like Sehwag, Miller, Maxwell and Bailey are free stroke makers which makes it easy for me. Sehwag always tells me see the ball and hit it and that's what I am following.

G Bailey : Nice to go in to the business end of the tournament with the win. I just want to ask what bowlers need to do get the man of the match award. Everyone is fresh which brings about a fresh impetus backed with some good fielding. We will be focusing on the basics, everything starts from zero in the play-off. Want to thank everyone for turning up in good numbers, they became louder and louder as the game progressed, they have supported us all the way.

K Pietersen : I dont make any decision on players I am one of them. 116 was never a good total and want to apologize to Delhi fans, it was a disappointing performance. Couple of injuries added to our woes. We can come back fresh next year. It was a enjoyable experience but our performance was below par. Just hope that we get back next year with some intent as there would be no pressure on us.
