Brilliant century by opener Alex Hales leads England to a comfortable victory over Sri Lanka in the group 2 match of the 2014 Wolrd Twnety20.

England beatEngland 190 for 4 - Hales 116*, Morgan 57

Sri Lanka 189 for 4 - Jayawardene 89, Dilshan 55

It was a great win for us. We needed the win to stay alive in the tournament. The pitch was beautiful. The way Morgan played was outstanding. He made my job easier. Centuries in this format doesn't come easy and glad to have done it today - Alex Hales (Man of the Match)
