Quotes

"This is my second game in the format. The ball was turning and I was looking for variation. I was having a word with Murali before the game and Virat has been supporting me well." - Yuzvendra Chahal (Man of the Match)

"I was telling Yuvi in the middle to get used to the pace of the wicket. This is a good phase for the team. There were a lot of positives from the game. It was a 170 track. The bowlers did very well to restrict them. It was sad, how people targeted Yuvi after the World Cup. He has won us 2 World Cups. I just told him to play the way he wanted and if he plays like that it is an absolute treat to watch." - Virat Kohli

"We didn't bat well especially at the top. There was a great partnership between Ross Taylor and JP Duminy. Our fielding and bowling let us down. When batsmen are hammering you, you don't know who to bowl at what stage. We can come back hard next game. Duminy batted very well along with Ross Taylor." - Dinesh Karthik
