Kolkata, July 18 (Cricketnmore) Three persons were arrested by the police in connection with the manhandling of India cricketer Mohammed Shami in front of his apartment in the southern part of the city July 15.

"Three local youths were arrested on Monday night for confronting Shami," an officer from Jadavpur police station said.

Late on Saturday night three allegedly drunk youths heckled the cricketer in front of his apartment in the Jadavpur area. They confronted Shami for allegedly taking too long to garage his car and in the process blocking their bike.
