Australia got off to a iffy start and never really recovered from the early jolt. A great bowling performance by the Proteas led by Morne Morkel (5/21) who picked up his second 5 wicket hall in ODI's. Finch, Watson and Smith all were dismissed pretty cheaply. Marsh along with Bailey and then with Wade tried to resurrect the Aussie innings but wickets just kept tumbling at regular intervals. Marsh played a fine knock of 67 but never got any substantial support from the other end. Morkel was well supported by Steyn who too grabbed three wicket to bundle out Australia for a paltry total of 154.
