#5. Dushmantha Chameera - 7 wickets

Lucknow Super Giants' Dushmantha Chameera has bowled 126 bowls in the powerplay and has registered 7 wickets to his name. In 10 innings, the Sri Lankan has conceded 162 runs and has an economy of 7.71.


#4. Umesh Yadav - 8 wickets

Kolkata Knight Riders' pacer Umesh Yadav had a fantastic start to the tournament. The Indian bowler managed 8 wickets in 150 deliveries inside the powerplay and picked up important wickets at the top. Umesh has an economy of 6.44 in the powerplay in 10 innings. 


#3. Kagiso Rabada - 8 wickets

South African pacer Kagiso Rabada proved to be a good investment for Punjab Kings. The right-arm fast bowler has picked 8 wickets in 126 bowls in the powerplay and has an economy of 8.52 till now in 10 innings. 

 

#2. Mohammad Shami - 10 wickets

Gujarat Titans' ace bowler Mohammad Shami has been a tremendous asset for Gujarat Titans, providing regular wickets in the powerplay. Shami has picked 10 wickets in 186 deliveries while conceding only 190 runs. Shami has an economy of 6.12 inside the powerplay in 12 innings.

Even though Chennai Super Kings have been knocked out of the competition with 8 losses in 12 matches, Mukesh Choudhary has been a revelation for them. The young pacer leads this chart 11 wickets to his name in 162 deliveries, conceding 222 runs. The youngster has an economy of 8.22 in 11 innings.
