NZ vs AUS, 1st T20I Match Preview:

New Zealand has been in good touch in the shorter format of the game. They have picked up a batting heavy squad for this series. Despite some grey clouds over the availability of Martin Guptill, they have got themselves covered with the emergence of Devon Conway, who was impressive in the Pakistan series in December. 

Kyle Jamieson will be the key for New Zealand in this series not only with the ball but with the bat as well. Leg-spinner Ish Sodhi could be the X-factor. 

Australia, too, has picked a heavy-hitting batting squad. Despite a concerning form, captain Aaron Finch will open the batting. Mathew Wade will be the likely opener with Finch, however, he is in great touch in the last couple of months. Ashton Turner has been picked up for the finisher's role and could also come in handy with the ball. 

Jhye Richardson and Daniel Sams were in outstanding form with the ball in the recently concluded BBL 10. They looked impressive with the bat as well. Adam Zampa, like Ish Sodhi, will be the X-factor for Australia with the ball. 

Australia has dominated New Zealand in the T20Is historically. However, most of the matches got close. This could be another high-scoring T20 series.
