England defeated India by eight wickets in the 1st T20I on Friday and lead the five-match series 1-0. The 2nd T20I will be played on 14th March at Narendra Modi Stadium.

The Indian experiment of playing with an aggressive approach failed on the first try as the batsmen faltered to get going. With Rohit Sharma unavailable for the next game, Shikhar Dhawan and KL Rahul will once again open the innings. India is likely to play the same batting line-up in the 2nd T20I.

Shreyas Iyer revived the Indian innings with his 67-run knock and has more or less confirmed his position in the middle order, at least for the next two games. Virat Kohli hasn't been in the best of forms lately but will still be valuable at number 3 and could play a series-defining innings in this game.

It is unlikely that India will make a change in the batting meaning that Suryakumar Yadav will still have to wait for his debut.

The Indian bowlers didn't have much to defend in the first game. Yuzvendra Chahal and Washington Sundar picked one wicket each. There is a case of Axar Patel getting replaced by Deepak Chahar. Bhuvneshwar Kumar went ineffective in his returning game but is likely to continue to lead the attack.

England easily chased down the target. Jason Roy and Jonny Bairstow will be delighted to get runs under their belt. The two looked in great touch. The visitors are likely to play the same XI in this match.

The bowlers were breathing fire in the first game. Jofra Archer and Mark Wood were bowling fast which made the batsmen uncomfortable. Adil Rashid looked good as the lone spinner in the team.

England was on top of India in the first game. However, the visitors will be wary of India's comeback story after losing the first match of the series.
