Sept.17 (CRICKETNMORE) - Hardik Pandya struck a whirlwind 83 off 66 balls while ever reliable MS Dhoni played a brilliant knock of 79 off 88 balls to help India post 281/7 against Australia in the first ODI at MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai on Sunday.
Earlier, Indian captain Virat Kohli won the toss and elected to bat. India suffered early blows as top order failed to score. The sixth wicket partnership of 118 runs between MS Dhoni and Hardik Pandya helped India to post score beyond 250.
