Birmingham, June 4 (CRICKETNMORE): Rain continued to play spoilsport in the Group B Champions Trophy cricket match between India and Pakistan at Edgbaston here on Sunday.

After five overs in the second innings with Pakistan at 22 for no loss, the skies opened up and resulted in a hold up.

Pakistani openers Azhar Ali (12) and Ahmed Shehzad (7) were at the crease when the umpires called for the covers.

Earlier, in an innings affected by rain twice -- consequently shortened to 48 overs against the normal 50, India posted 319 in their 48 overs posting a target of 320 runs for the men in green.

Match officials later revised the score in view of the rain-interruptions and thus Pakistan will have to score 324 in 48 overs for a win.
