Feb. 21 (CRICKETNMORE) - When Kings XI Punjab bought T Natarajan for 3 crore in the IPL 2017 auction held in Bengaluru on Monday, the Tamil Nadu Left arm-pacer, it was a defining moment for the Tamil Nadu Left arm-pacer.
From a base price of Rs 10 lakh, Natarajan was sold for 3 crore, the highest paid Indian uncapped player in the auction.
In an interview given to Hindustan Times, he said," I am not thinking of the money right now. I never imagined getting so much money. I don’t even know how many zeroes are there in three crore,” Natarajan, 25, who has just playednine first-class matches and five T20 matches. I am just thrilled to be part of the IPL, which will help me develop my bowling.”
