Mohun Bagan Super Giant:<\/b> Manvir Singh scored the winner late in the second half as Mohun Bagan Super Giant (MBSG) secured a hard-fought 1-0 victory over Chennaiyin FC in the Indian Super League (ISL) 2026\/27 at the Vivekananda Yuba Bharati Krirangan (VYBK) in Kolkata on Monday.<\/p>\r\n\r\n
In a closely contested encounter, both sides created several opportunities, but goalkeepers Mohammad Nawaz and Vishal Kaith produced key saves to keep the game goalless for much of the evening. Chennaiyin came agonisingly close to taking the lead when Nikola Stojanovi\u0107 struck the crossbar before the Mariners found their breakthrough.<\/p>\r\n\r\n<\/p>\r\n\r\n
Chennaiyin FC started brightly, with Stojanovi\u0107 firing over from distance before Brison Fernandes and Irfan Yadwad came close to breaking the deadlock. Bagan introduced Sahal Abdul Samad for Lallianzuala Chhangte at the break, followed by Anirudh Thapa for Zeljkovi\u0107 early in the second half.
