The incident comes days after Kompany complained of pain in his leg and hip ahead of Bayern\u2019s UEFA Champions League match against Arsenal on Wednesday. The discomfort was believed to be linked to a virus he had been suffering from.<\/p>\r\n\r\n<\/p>\r\n\r\n
Bayern Munich assistant coach Aaron Danks had addressed the media at the pre-match press conference in Kompany\u2019s place, explaining that the manager needed time to recover.<\/p>\r\n\r\n<\/p>\r\n\r\n
\u201cIt\u2019s just a virus. The doctors, the experts, know way more than I do,\u201d Danks had said.<\/p>\r\n\r\n<\/p>\r\n\r\n
