His run in Nagoya also came as India secured another medal in boxing, with Parveen Hooda advancing to the final of the women\u2019s 65kg event after defeating China\u2019s Li Shu 5-0.<\/p>\r\n\r\n<\/p>\r\n\r\n
President Murmu also congratulated Gulveer after the Indian distance runner completed an impressive three-medal campaign by winning bronze in the men\u2019s 5000m.<\/p>\r\n\r\n<\/p>\r\n\r\n
Gulveer clocked 13:32.75 to finish third behind Bahrain\u2019s Birhanu Balew (13:30.79) and Japan\u2019s Yamaguchi Tomonori (13:31.43). The podium finish followed his silver medals in the 10,000m and 1500m earlier in the Games.<\/p>\r\n\r\n<\/p>\r\n\r\n
