According to Sky Sports report, Liverpool have now agreed to pay a British-record transfer fee of 125 million pound for the striker, who is set to sign a six-year deal with Liverpool and begin his medical on Monday morning.<\/p>\r\n\r\n
Earlier this summer, Isak was left out of the Newcastle squad for their pre-season tour of Asia with what the club described as a minor thigh injury. He then trained alone at his former club Real Sociedad before Liverpool's initial bid for him was knocked back by the Magpies.<\/p>\r\n\r\n
Isak played a huge role in Newcastle\u2019s solid season, with 27 goals across 42 games in all competitions and secured UCL football for next season, while also ending the team\u2019s trophy drought by lifting the Carabao Cup.<\/p>\r\n\r\n
