While setting his sights on the PVL title, Chaudhary is a big fan of the league and says PVL is a great initiative.<\/p>\r\n\r\n
\"PVL is a fantastic initiative. What could be better than giving youngsters a chance to showcase their talent? The platform is strong, the sport is growing, and it\u2019s giving volleyball in India the recognition it deserves,\" said the 31-year-old on Friday.<\/p>\r\n\r\n
Chaudhary, who scored a total of 134 points (110 attack points, 14 block points, and 10 serve points) in the 2024 edition and 46 points (40 attack points, 2 block points, and 4 serve points) in the 2023 season, lavished praise on the Mumbai Meteors franchise.<\/p>\r\n\r\n
\"Mumbai Meteors is a fantastic franchise. I felt really happy when they retained me. Now, my focus is to train and be in the best shape for the upcoming season and aim to win the title,\u201d he added.<\/p>\r\n\r\n
Talking about the squad and the kind of balance that the youngsters and the experienced players bring to the table, Chaudhary said, \u201cOur squad is a great mix\u2014half are promising youngsters, and the other half are experienced seniors. I feel it\u2019s a very balanced team, and it\u2019s always good to have young energy along with senior guidance.\u201d<\/p>\r\n\r\n
Chaudhary, who hails from Karnal, credited his father, who has himself played at the National level, for making him fall in love with the sport. \"I am from Karnal, Haryana. My interest in sports came from my father, who was a volleyball coach and a national-level player with a gold medal at the All-India level. He worked with the Chandigarh Police and later as a coach in Haryana before becoming a professor. He\u2019s retired now, but everything I\u2019ve achieved started because of him.\u201d<\/p>\r\n\r\n
\"In those days, it was compulsory to play every position\u2014blocker, attacker, everything. My father taught me the basics\u2014hands, fingers, batting. I started as an attacker and gradually got comfortable in the universal role,\u201d Chaudhary further explained.<\/p>\r\n\r\n
Chaudhary, who currently serves in the Income Tax department\u2014a role he earned through his achievements in volleyball\u2014also praised the wealth of talent emerging from Haryana.<\/p>\r\n\r\n

The Meteors\u2019 all-rounder grew emotional while speaking about the role of his family in his journey. \u201cMy mother and my wife have been pillars of strength for me. They\u2019ve always encouraged me to keep playing, no matter what. Now, with a three-month-old daughter at home, my wife inspires me even more\u2014I feel an extra push to give my very best, both on and off the court,\u201d he shared.<\/p>\r\n\r\n

Prime Volleyball League is India's first professional volleyball league with 10 teams. The league successfully completed Seasons 1, 2 & 3, and Season 4 is scheduled for October 2025. Prime Volleyball League works closely with the global body of Volleyball (F\u00e9d\u00e9ration Internationale de Volley Ball, FIVB). The league has players from India and worldwide, where the international players come through FIVB's international transfer procedure.<\/p>\r\n\r\n
