\u201cI think we\u2019re getting more than I paid for [from Sainz],\u201d Vowles was quoted by Formula 1.com as saying. \u201cThere are two ways to assess performance: on-track speed and off-track contribution. While he's still finding his rhythm in the FW47\u2014quite a different car from the Ferrari\u2014what\u2019s blown me away is how he's integrated into the team.\u201d<\/p>\r\n\r\n
Vowles praised Sainz\u2019s willingness to collaborate closely with aerodynamicists, race engineers, and various departments across the factory, citing his relentless pursuit of marginal gains as a key reason for signing him. \u201cThat\u2019s the reason why I wanted him as part of this team,\u201d said Vowles. \u201cAnd he\u2019s delivering absolutely above my expectations.\u201d<\/p>\r\n\r\n
