Our goal is to bring the sport closer to the fans and inspire a new generation of players and supporters. This year\u2019s Hockey India League will showcase an impressive roster of eight men\u2019s teams and four women\u2019s teams, both leagues offering fast-paced, exciting games through their newly revamped formats. The men\u2019s league kicks off on December 28 in Rourkela at the Birsa Munda Hockey Stadium, with the grand finale scheduled to take place on February 1, 2025.<\/p>\r\n\r\n
Meanwhile, the women\u2019s league begins on January 12, 2025 in Ranchi\u2019s Marang Gomke Jaipal Singh Munda Astro Turf Stadium, with the final slated for January 26, promising a thrilling competition from start to finish. Also, to expand the league\u2019s reach, select men\u2019s and women\u2019s matches will be held at alternate venues, bringing the unique excitement of the Hero HIL to different regions.<\/p>\r\n\r\n
