Fissette became Swiatek's first non-Polish coach as well as third coach at the top level of her career.<\/p>\r\n\r\n

It\u2019s always crucial to try and get to know each other better but we\u2019re off to a good start and I can\u2019t wait to compete soon,\" the post read.<\/p>\r\n\r\n
The decision comes two weeks after Swiatek's split from longtime coach Tomasz Wiktorowski, ending a successful three-year partnership. Under Wiktorowski\u2019s guidance, Swiatek won four of her five Grand Slam titles and ascended to World No.1 for the first time.<\/p>\r\n\r\n
Prior to Wiktorowski, Swiatek had been coached by Piotr Sierzputowski since 2016.<\/p>\r\n\r\n
The 44-year-old Belgian has previously had stints with Kim Clijsters, Simona Halep, Victoria Azarenka, Angelique Kerber and Naomi Osaka.<\/p>\r\n\r\n
Fissette becomes Swiatek\u2019s third coach at the top level of her career and her first non-Polish coach. Prior to Wiktorowski, Swiatek was mentored by Piotr Sierzputowski from 2016 until the end of 2021, a period that saw her breakthrough on the WTA Tour and her first Grand Slam title at Roland Garros in 2020.<\/p>\r\n\r\n
