Steve Smith is a character. He is probably Australia's best modern day batter, or even the world's but he's still a distracted kid from the inside. He loves batting and piling on runs, especially in test cricket. <\/p>\r\n\r\n

He isn't a traditional batter. Smith moves all the time - doing things with his hands, feet, head, and bat. But his eyes are always on the ball. Smith loves batting so much that even a mild distraction will make him irritated. He doesn't want to get out due to some movement his 360 degree peripheral movement caught. <\/p>\r\n\r\n

Throughout day 1 of the third Australia vs Pakistan test match, Smith tried to come in peace with the distractions in the Gaddafi Stadium, Lahore - which is hosting a test match after 2009. <\/p>\r\n\r\n

At the beginning of his innings, the camera kept making him uncomfortable. Smith immediately asked the camera to stop moving when the bowler is in his runup. <\/p>\r\n\r\n
