Not only he was a terrific batter in the longer format, but Pietersen also had a wide range of shots to play in the shorter format.&nbsp;<\/p>\r\n\r\n<p>Although it&#39;s been nearly four years since he retired from all formats of cricket, Pietersen has still got enough to smack the bowlers around like it&#39;s nothing. His power-hitting ability was on display in the ongoing Legends League Cricket(LLC) where Pietersen is representing World Giants.&nbsp;<\/p>\r\n\r\n<p>On Wednesday, the England batter smacked 86 runs in just 38 balls with the help of nine fours and seven sixes.&nbsp;<\/p>\r\n\r\n<p>Pietersen began cautiously in the first five overs of the 150-run chase but his eyes widened as soon as he saw left-arm spinner Sanath Jayasuriya warming up to bowl the sixth over. He smashed the first ball for four, second over the boundary towards long-off, four towards sweeper cover, again a boundary towards deep mid-wicket.
