South Africa vs India: <\/strong>In the 1st ODI, Venkatesh Iyer got his debut cap for team India and in his first match itself he displayed a promising performance. The young all-rounder inflicted a run out on Aiden Markram and pushed them onto the back foot. <\/p>\r\n\r\n

Venkatesh Iyer was fielding at mid-off and Markram seemed to take him for granted and paid the price. In the 18th over of the South African innings, Markram went for a single on Ashwin's bowling and Venkatesh Iyer, who was fielding at mid-off showed agility and swiftness and aimed the ball straight at the stumps. <\/p>\r\n\r\n

However, this wasn't the first time Iyer connected a direct hit on the stumps. On the last delivery of the 14th over, Temba Bavuma struck a similar shot but he denied his partner Quinton de Kock for the single.
