    "editor1": "<p>Half-centuries from Dawid Malan and Joe Root have kept England in game after the end of the first session of play on day 3 of the Pink Ball Test at the Adelaide Oval.&nbsp;<\/p>\r\n\r\n<p>Resuming the day at a tricky position of 17\/2, Root and Malan began the rebuilding process with some deserved luck - edges that didn&#39;t carry, inside edges that missed the stumps - and some great batting conditions.&nbsp;<\/p>\r\n\r\n<p>Malan kept pouncing on everything that was just short and wide while Root was happy to rotate the strike whenever possible.
