    "editor1": "<p>In a major update coming in from Mumbai, the newly appointed test vice-captain and limited overs&#39; captain Rohit Sharma, has suffered an injury and is ruled out of the 3 test series against South Africa starting from December 26.&nbsp;<\/p>\r\n\r\n<p>Rohit Sharma was rested for the 2-match test&nbsp;series against New Zealand owing to workload management; and was practising at Bandra Kurla Complex for the last one week, where he suffered this injury.&nbsp;<\/p>\r\n\r\n<p>It&#39;s still not clear if &#39;Hitman&#39; will be available for the three ODI-match series as well, a format where he was recently handed the captain&#39;s role.&nbsp;As we await official confirmation from BCCI, it can be said with surety that India A captain Priyank Panchal will replace Rohit Sharma in the squad. As far as vice-captaincy goes, it&#39;s anyone&#39;s guess.
