    "editor1": "<p>Former England batsman Kevin Pietersen on Saturday said that cricket boards around the world should not schedule any cricket during the Indian Premier League(IPL) season since it is cricket&#39;s biggest tournament.<\/p>\r\n\r\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\">\r\n<p dir=\"ltr\" lang=\"en\">Cricket boards need to realise that the <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/IPL?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">@IPL<\/a> is the biggest show in town.<br \/>\r\n<br \/>\r\nDO NOT schedule ANY international games whilst it&rsquo;s on.<br \/>\r\n<br \/>\r\nV v v simple!<\/p>\r\n&mdash; Kevin Pietersen(@KP24) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/KP24\/status\/1377961629187457024?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">April 2, 2021<\/a><\/blockquote>\r\n<script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script>\r\n\r\n<p>His remarks come at a time when some of South Africa&#39;s IPL-bound players will be leaving their national team&#39;s ongoing series after the second ODI thereby missing the final one-dayer as well as the four-match T20 International series that follows the ODIs.<\/p>\r\n\r\n<p>Kagiso Rabada, Anrich Nortje (both Delhi Capitals), Quinton de Kock (Mumbai Indians), David Miller (Rajasthan Royals) and Lungi Ngidi (Chennai Super Kings) will be travelling to India for the cash-rich tournament that begins on April 9.<\/p>\r\n\r\n<p>While Pietersen&#39;s obvious reference is to South African team&#39;s cricket scheduling, Pakistan, Zimbabwe and Sri Lanka who have no cricketers at the cash-rich tournament can ignore IPL and play their international series.<\/p>\r\n\r\n<p>Pakistan players haven&#39;t been part of IPL after the first edition in 2008 while Sri Lankan players weren&#39;t picked at all this season. Zimbabwe players aren&#39;t fancied for IPL at all.<\/p>\r\n\r\n<p>Pakistan will tour Zimbabwe immediately after finishing their South Africa assignment and the series will be held while the IPL is on.<\/p>\r\n\r\n<p>Sri Lanka recently completed their assignment in West Indies and will play Bangladesh in a two-Test series later this month.<\/p>\r\n",
