Stokes, in slips, accidentally applied saliva on the ball which&nbsp;immediately caught the eye of on-field umpires - Nitin Menon and Virender Sharma.&nbsp;<\/p>\r\n\r\n<p>The umpires immediately took the ball and sanitized it as per&nbsp;the Standard Operating Procedure(SOP). Applying saliva has been banned by ICC in the post-Covid era.&nbsp;<\/p>\r\n\r\n<p>It is not the first time Ben Stokes has been given a warning for applying saliva to the ball. In the 3rd Test Match between India and England, the all-rounder was warned for applying saliva on the pink ball.&nbsp;<\/p>\r\n",
