New Zealand Cricket(NZC) will be giving a 'No-Objection Certificate' to its players for the Indian Premier League(IPL) 2021. The players from New Zealand will be available to play a full season of the IPL according to a report in ANI. <\/p>\r\n\r\n

"Yes, the NOCs would be given and the cricketers would be available for the entire edition," said the NZC spokesperson. <\/p>\r\n\r\n

This confirmation comes after some media houses reported that Kiwi players will be missing the IPL playoffs due to their tour of England in June. <\/p>\r\n\r\n

However, for the same reason, England star players like Ben Stokes, Jofra Archer, and Jos Buttler may not be available for the final league stage matches. <\/p>\r\n\r\n

ECB's international schedule has always clashed with IPL's final league stages. So far no English player has missed a test match to play in the IPL. <\/p>\r\n\r\n

According to a report in ESPNcricinfo, franchises were contacted by IPL through an email, listing out the full availability of players from each country including England. However, they requested IPL franchises to release players for the test series between New Zealand and England. <\/p>\r\n\r\n

"In the event of ECB Selectors wishing to select a player for the 1st Test v New Zealand whose franchise has made it through to the knockout stages of the Tournament, but who is not featuring in the starting XI, the relevant franchise is requested to release such player early so that they can participate in the Test Match," the IPL email read.<\/p>\r\n\r\n

The IPL 2021 is expected to begin from the second week of April and end by mid-May.
