    "editor1": "<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size:14px;\"><span style=\"font-family:tahoma,geneva,sans-serif;\">Dhaka, Jan 11 (CRICKETNMORE) Bangladesh cricketer Rubel Hossain was Sunday granted bail by a Dhaka court after his previous petition was rejected by the metropolitan magistrate&#39;s court in a case filed by model-actress Naznin Akter Happy.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size:14px;\"><span style=\"font-family:tahoma,geneva,sans-serif;\">Metropolitan sessions court judge Imrul Kayes heard the matter and granted him bail until police submit the chargesheet in the court, bednews24.com.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size:14px;\"><span style=\"font-family:tahoma,geneva,sans-serif;\">Happy filed a case Dec 13 against Rubel under the Women&#39;s Repression Act, 2014, alleging that the pace bowler, promising marriage, had engaged in a physical relationship with her.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size:14px;\"><span style=\"font-family:tahoma,geneva,sans-serif;\">Rubel appeared in a high court Dec 15 and filed an appeal, asking for anticipatory bail. The court granted a four-week bail.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size:14px;\"><span style=\"font-family:tahoma,geneva,sans-serif;\">On Jan 8, the cricketer surrendered to the Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate&#39;s Court and sought bail again.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size:14px;\"><span style=\"font-family:tahoma,geneva,sans-serif;\">The court turned down his plea and sent him to jail. This happened three days before the expiry of his anticipatory bail.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size:14px;\"><span style=\"font-family:tahoma,geneva,sans-serif;\">Rubel has alleged that Happy has been &quot;blackmailing&quot; him.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size:14px;\"><span style=\"font-family:tahoma,geneva,sans-serif;\">Happy underwent a medical test that suggested Rubel did not force her to sleep with him.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size:14px;\"><span style=\"font-family:tahoma,geneva,sans-serif;\">The court ordered a DNA test of Rubel Dec 31, 2014, taking cognisance of an appeal filed by Mirpur police Sub-Inspector Md. Masud Parvez.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size:14px;\"><span style=\"font-family:tahoma,geneva,sans-serif;\">Happy claimed the two got in touch first on Facebook and Rubel refused to marry her after nine months of an intimate relationship.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size:14px;\"><span style=\"font-family:tahoma,geneva,sans-serif;\">Happy, a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) student at a private university, has acted in a Bengali film.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size:14px;\"><span style=\"font-family:tahoma,geneva,sans-serif;\">She alleged that Rubel got involved with another girl while their marriage was being negotiated.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size:14px;\"><span style=\"font-family:tahoma,geneva,sans-serif;\">She lodged the complaint against him when he allegedly started avoiding her.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size:14px;\"><span style=\"font-family:tahoma,geneva,sans-serif;\">Happy also Jan 5 filed a petition in court, seeking Rubel&#39;s expulsion from the Bangladesh team.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size:14px;\"><span style=\"font-family:tahoma,geneva,sans-serif;\">The Bangladesh cricket team is to fly off to Australia in January-end for the ODI World Cup beginning Feb 14.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size:14px;\"><span style=\"font-family:tahoma,geneva,sans-serif;\">(IANS)<\/span><\/span><\/p>\r\n",
