For the first time it was played in Africa. It was co-hosted by South Africa, Zimbabwe and Kenya from 9 February to 23 March 2003. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family:tahoma,geneva,sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size:14px;\">14 teams participated in the tournament. The teams are divided into two groups, and the top three from each group qualified for the Super Sixes stage.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family:tahoma,geneva,sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size:14px;\">Australia won their third&nbsp;world cup defeating India by 125 runs in the final at&nbsp;Johannesburg.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\r\n",
