    "editor1": "<p><strong>Lahore, April 15: <\/strong>Former Pakistan fast bowler Shoaib Akhtar responded to Sunil Gavaskar after the former India skipper said that it was more likely to snow in Lahore than a bilateral series to take place between India and Pakistan any time soon. Akhtar pointed out in a tweet that there was indeed snowfall in Lahore last year.<\/p>\r\n\r\n<p>&quot;Well Sunny bhai, we did have a snowfall in Lahore last year.. So nothing is impossible,&quot; said Shoaib in his tweet which included an image of Gavaskar with his quote and an image of snow in Lahore.<\/p>\r\n\r\n<p>Akhtar was the first to suggest that India and Pakistan should play a bilateral series to raise funds in the fight against coronavirus for both countries. Gavaskar however said in a Youtube chat with former Pakistan captain Ramiz Raja that any possibility of such a series happening is next to nothing.<\/p>\r\n\r\n<p>&quot;There are more chances of snowfall in Lahore than bilateral series between India and Pakistan,&quot; said Gavaskar in a Youtube chat with former Pakistan captain Ramiz Raja.<\/p>\r\n\r\n<p>&quot;Both teams will keep on meeting in World Cups and ICC tournaments, but a series between them seems unlikely right now.&quot;<\/p>\r\n\r\n<p>Earlier, Akhtar&#39;s suggestion got backing from his former teammate Shahid Afridi. But India&#39;s 1983 World Cup winning captain Kapil Dev said that the match wasn&#39;t needed because India doesn&#39;t need funds.<\/p>\r\n\r\n<p>&quot;The entire world is fighting against coronavirus and we need unity in our region to defeat this common enemy. Such negative comments don&#39;t help at all. I don&#39;t see anything wrong with Shoaib Akhtar&#39;s suggestion for Pakistan and India to play cricket.<\/p>\r\n\r\n<p>&quot;Kapil&#39;s reaction has surprised me.
