Melbourne-14 Dec (CRICKETNMORE): Indian skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni announces retirement from Test cricket in a press conference after the Melbourne Test here on Tuesday. Virat Kohli will take over as India's captain for the final Test in Sydney.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

Dhoni played an instrumental in taking the Indian team to the top of Test rankings. Under his leadeship, India became the No. 1 team in the Test rankings. Dhoni played 90 Tests for India, scoring 4876 runs.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n
