It once again came in to the limelight on the third day of the first Commonwealth Bank Test between India and Australia here Thursday.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n<p><span style=\"font-size:14px;\"><span style=\"font-family:arial,helvetica,sans-serif;\">According to Cricket Australia (CA) website, the debate started when off-spinner Nathan Lyon made a vehement appeal for an leg-before-wicket decision against Indian opener Murali Vijay after he was struck on the pad with the final ball of the 22nd over of the innings.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n<p><span style=\"font-size:14px;\"><span style=\"font-family:arial,helvetica,sans-serif;\">The decision was turned down, and Australia captain Michael Clarke might have considered using a review, if one had been available.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n<p><span style=\"font-size:14px;\"><span style=\"font-family:arial,helvetica,sans-serif;\">However, the television replays clearly showed that the ball was missing the stumps and that the umpire was correct with the &#39;not out&#39; decision.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n<p><span style=\"font-size:14px;\"><span style=\"font-family:arial,helvetica,sans-serif;\">The DRS has not been used for the Test series after objections from the Board for Control of Cricket in India (BCCI).
