    "editor1": "<p>Lahore, Oct 23 (IANS)&nbsp;Former Pakistan opener Nasir Jamshed&#39;s 10-year ban for his involvement in the spot-fixing row that rocked the Pakistan Super League (PSL) during the 2016-17 season, was on Monday upheld by an independent adjudicator.<br \/>\r\n<br \/>\r\nJustice (R) Mian Hamid Farooq, in his order, noted that the ban imposed on Nasir was &quot;perfectly justified&quot; and would continue to remain in place.&nbsp;<br \/>\r\n<br \/>\r\nHowever, the additional penalties imposed by the Anti-Corruption Tribunal related to &quot;inclusion of Nasir in the list of players to be avoided by cricketers and all stakeholders&quot; and &quot;not to be given an important role in the management or administration of cricket&quot; have been &quot;set aside&quot; as they don&#39;t come under the jurisdiction of Article 6.2 of the Pakistan Cricket Board&#39;s (PCB) Anti-Corruption Code.<br \/>\r\n<br \/>\r\nEarlier in August, the PCB&#39;s Anti-Corruption Tribunal had observed that he was guilty in relation to five of the seven breaches of the board&#39;s anti-corruption code.&nbsp;<br \/>\r\n<br \/>\r\nJamshed, who played two Tests, 48 one-day internationals and 18 T20s for Pakistan until 2015, was first banned for 12 months by the same tribunal last December for failing to cooperate with the investigation.<\/p>\r\n\r\n<hr \/>\r\n<p>IANS<\/p>\r\n",
