    "editor1": "<p><em>Dubai, Oct 18 - Former Pakistan spinner Danish Kaneria has admitted to having a role in a spot-fixing scandal in England after denying the same for the last six years.<\/em><br \/>\r\n<br \/>\r\nIn an interview with Al Jazeera&#39;s Investigative Unit, Kaneria, who is Pakistan&#39;s most successful Test spinner, has said: &quot;My name is Danish Kaneria and I admit that I was guilty of the two charges brought against me by the England and Wales Cricket Board in 2012.&quot;<br \/>\r\n<br \/>\r\n&quot;I have become strong enough to make this decision because you cannot live a life with lies.&quot;<br \/>\r\n<br \/>\r\nKaneria was banned from all cricketing activities in 2012.<br \/>\r\n<br \/>\r\nThe 37-year old was banned after the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) investigated claims of spot-fixing during a county championship match between Durham and Essex in 2009.<br \/>\r\n<br \/>\r\nKaneria has played 61 Test matches and taken 276 international wickets.<\/p>\r\n\r\n<hr \/>\r\n<p>IANS<\/p>\r\n",
