    "editor1": "<p><strong>Bengaluru, June 12 (CRICKETNMORE):&nbsp;<\/strong> Indian wicket-keeper batsman Dinesh Karthik on Tuesday said he is happy to see Afghanistan doing well and rising through the ranks of world cricket.<\/p>\r\n\r\n<p>&quot;They&#39;re able to produce big players even in a tournament like the IPL (Indian Premier League). They have some key players who are producing some big performances for them. I&#39;m happy to see a country like that doing so well in cricket,&quot; Karthik told reporters.<\/p>\r\n\r\n<p>&quot;Today, they are household names... It&#39;s only going to get better. I genuinely hope they have the opportunity to play a lot of Test cricket,&quot; he added.<\/p>\r\n\r\n<p>Karthik also praised Afghan players for getting this far with limited resources and infrastructure.<\/p>\r\n\r\n<p>&quot;Their journey has been an inspiration for international cricket. Everyone knows it&#39;s a tough place and the turmoil that they are going through, but in spite of that they are able to inspire people with their performances,&quot; he added.<\/p>\r\n\r\n<p>For the one-off Test, the Afghanistan Cricket Board (ACB) announced a spin-heavy squad.<\/p>\r\n\r\n<p>The squad comprises five spinners in Mohammad Nabi, Rashid Khan, Mujeeb Ur Rahman, Zahir Khan and left-arm spinner Hamza Kotak who incidentally emerged as the leading wicket-taker in the recently concluded first-class competition.<\/p>\r\n\r\n<p>Rashid and Mujeeb enjoyed fruitful campaigns in the IPL, playing for Sunrisers Hyderabad and Kings XI Punjab respectively.<\/p>\r\n",
