However they were guided past the 200-run mark by David Miller&#39;s 18-ball-40 (5x4, 1x6).<br \/>\r\n<br \/>\r\nIn reply, Northern districts were never in contention of chasing the total and kept losing wickets at regular intervals.<br \/>\r\n<br \/>\r\nThey lost wickets at regular intervals and ultimately were bowled out below 100 runs.<br \/>\r\n<br \/>\r\nPunjab&#39;s leg spinner Karanveer Singh impressed, claiming four wickets for 15 runs.<br \/>\r\n<br \/>\r\nBrief scores: Kings XI Punjab 215\/5 in 20 overs (Virender Sehwag 52, Manan Vohra 65, David Miller 40 not out; Scott Kuggeleijn 2\/34, Ish Sodhi 2\/37).
