July 8 (CRICKETNMORE) - South Africa finished the day 2 at 214\/5 to trail England by 244 after the hosts were bowled out for 458 in their first innings of the opening test at Lords on friday. England have dominated the test so far and will look for a big lead when the third day starts on Saturday.<\/p>\r\n\r\n
England captain Joe Root was finally dismissed for a brilliant 190 after adding only six to his overnight score. Moeen Ali (87), Stuart Broad (57*) and Ben Stokes (56) were the other contributors with the bat for England. <\/p>\r\n\r\n
