Mehedi was initially selected in the Bangladesh U-23 squad for the upcoming ACC Emerging Nations Cup, but has now been replaced by U-19 spinner Naeem Hasan.<\/p>\r\n\r\n<p>Meanwhile, a hamstring injury has forced Lankan wicketkeeper-batsman Kushal Perara to remain on the sidelines for the opening two games of the series against the Bangladeshis.
