Shami has been prolific in the domestic arena. He picked 37 wickets in the Ranji Trophy 2025-26 at an average of 16.72 and was the second-highest wicket-taker for Bengal. In the 2025-26 Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy, a T20 tournament, Shami was Bengal's leading wicket-taker, with 16 scalps in seven innings, and he was also the highest wicket-taker for his state in the Vijay Hazare Trophy 2025-26, a 50-over tournament, where he took 15 wickets in seven innings.<\/p>\r\n\r\n
