Lodha Committee&#39;s recommendations, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) was on Friday forced to adjourn its Special General Meeting (SGM) on technical grounds.<\/p>\r\n\r\n<p>The national cricket board adjourned its SGM after it was discovered that some of the authority letters from different associations representing their respective states were defective.<\/p>\r\n\r\n<h4><a href=\"http:\/\/www.cricketnmore.com\/cricket-news\/sehwag-hayden-changed-definition-of-test-batting-ganguly--19830\"><span style=\"color:#FF0000;\">Sehwag, Hayden changed definition of Test batting: Ganguly<\/span><\/a><\/h4>\r\n\r\n<p>The BCCI will now meet on Saturday to take a decision on the committee&#39;s reforms, which effectively means that the board has missed the apex court&#39;s September 30 deadline for implementing the Lodha panel recommendations to bring in sweeping reforms.<\/p>\r\n\r\n<p>The board had drawn the Supreme Court&#39;s ire on Wednesday with the special bench headed by Chief Justice T.S. Thakur warning it to either &quot;fall in line&quot; or face the music.<\/p>\r\n\r\n<h4><a href=\"http:\/\/www.cricketnmore.com\/cricket-news\/kapil-dev-rings-bell-at-eden-gardens--19803\"><span style=\"color:#FF0000;\">Former Captain kapil Dev rings the bell to start off proceedings at the Eden<\/span><\/a><\/h4>\r\n\r\n<p>The BCCI has time till October 6 to respond to the Lodha Committee&#39;s status report.<\/p>\r\n\r\n<p>The current BCCI officials have openly voiced their objections to the reforms suggested by the Lodha panel, especially on the three-year cooling off period for those holding office in the board or its state associations and the policy of one state-one vote.<\/p>\r\n",
