\u201cGujarat Titans (GT) Captain Shubman Gill has been fined after his team maintained a slow over-rate during Match No. 14 of the TATA Indian Premier League (IPL) 2026 against Delhi Capitals (DC) at Arun Jaitley Stadium, Delhi.<\/p>\r\n\r\n
\u201cAs this was his team\u2019s first offence of the season under Article 2.22 of the IPL\u2019s Code of Conduct, which pertains to minimum over-rate offences, Gill was fined INR 12 lakhs,\u201d said a statement from the tournament on Thursday morning. <\/p>\r\n\r\n
Previously, Punjab Kings skipper Shreyas Iyer was fined twice for slow over-rate in IPL 2026. The ruling came hours after Gujarat Titans opened their account on the IPL 2026 points table with a thrilling finish.
