\u201cNaseem had shown ignorance over a tweet asking why Ms Nawaz was treated like a \u201cQueen of Lord\u2019s\u201d at the opening ceremony of the Pakistan Super League on Thursday,\u201d sources told Telecom Asia Sport.<\/p>\r\n\r\n
Sources said Ms Nawaz had accepted Naseem\u2019s apology and was ready to pardon the youngster for his offence but the disciplinary committee was not ready to forgive Naseem.<\/p>\r\n\r\n
Naseem\u2019s stance that his tweeter account was hacked was not accepted, said sources.<\/p>\r\n\r\n
\u201cThe disciplinary committee proceedings pertaining to breaches of various clauses of Naseem Shah's Central Contract and the PCB Social Media Guidelines.,\u201d said PCB.<\/p>\r\n\r\n
The PCB had issued a show cause notice dated 27th March 2026 outlining the violations and sought a response for Naseem.<\/p>\r\n\r\n
A personal hearing was then held by a three member Disciplinary Committee on 30th March 2025 after Naseem Shah's reply had been received and reviewed.<\/p>\r\n\r\n
Pursuant to the hearing and evaluation of Naseem's submissions the Committee has determined as under:<\/p>\r\n\r\n
Whilst noting the unconditional apology tendered, Naseem is found to have breached various clauses of his Central Contract and a fine of PKR 2 crores has been imposed.<\/p>\r\n\r\n
