Aug 29, New Delhi (CRICKETNMORE): Bangladesh will host Afghanistan at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in Mirpur from September 25 to October 1, 2016. Bangladesh has faced Afghanistan thrice in the international arena, twice in ODIs and once in a Twenty20 International. They met in 2014 Asia cup for the first time where Afghanistan defeated Bangladesh by 32 runs. They later met in the ICC World T20 2014 in Mirpur, with Bangladesh going on to win that game by nine wickets.

\r\nThe most recent game between these two sides was in the ICC World Cup 2015 in Australia. Afghanistan, who was making its World Cup debut, lost by 105 runs.<\/p>\r\n\r\n

This series will give Afghanistan another opportunity to showcase its skill against a Test-playing nation.
