\u201cI thought it was a good game with plenty of positives for us. Of course, we would have loved to start with a win, but we just couldn\u2019t quite put it together for long enough. Chasing a challenging target of 207, the Warriorz showed fighting spirit but were left with too much to do in the end. Lanning credited the Gujarat Giants for putting her side under sustained pressure with the bat.<\/p>\r\n\r\n
\u201cI thought the Giants batted extremely well and put us under pressure. We probably didn\u2019t execute as well as we would have liked, a little bit on both sides of the wicket. It was a tough wicket to bowl on and good for batting,\u201d she explained.<\/p>\r\n\r\n
The former Australia skipper acknowledged that there were areas the Warriorz needed to improve, particularly with the ball, but remained confident in the depth and flexibility of her bowling attack.<\/p>\r\n\r\n
