Mumbai are currently at second place in Group C and will take on Himachal Pradesh on Tuesday, before facing Punjab on January 8.<\/p>\r\n\r\n<p>\u201cThe Mumbai Cricket Association (MCA) is pleased to announce that Shreyas Iyer has been appointed as the captain of the Mumbai senior men\u2019s team for the remaining league matches of the Vijay Hazare Trophy.\u201d<\/p>\r\n\r\n<p>\u201cShreyas Iyer will take over the leadership responsibilities in place of Shardul Thakur, who has been ruled out of the tournament due to injury and is currently unavailable for selection.
